Brain Sensors in Cars

Of all car crashes, 25% of them are caused by driving while fatigued. Right now, car manufacturers are looking into a new technology that picks up brain patterns that hint that the driver is becoming sleepy. The hardware was invented by NeuroSky, a company in California, and uses electroencephalography (EEG). I think this would be a neat addition to add to cars, and it would definitely be beneficial with saving lives. I wonder if this will become the norm for some cars in acouple years...
