Many buyers were sad because an iPhone 5 didn't come out, just an iPhone 4s. Here are the things that separate the iPhone 4s from the iPhone 4:
1. A5 Chip-- They have a new faster chip called the A5 chip that is double the speed of the other chip because it has two processors instead of one.
2. Camera-- They redesigned the camera to have new optics and an 8 megapixel camera as opposed to the 5 megapixel camera of the iPhone 4. The camera also has face detection and photo editing abilities.
3. Siri Voice Recognition-- The iPhone 4s has a more advanced voice recognition feature called Siri. It seems pretty neat because you can like tell it to text for you or read texts for you. You can also tell it to change your calendar and do other tasks for you. I wonder though if this could be a problem if you were talking to someone else if it would start doing things you wouldn't want it to.
4. iCloud-- It stores your music, photos, aps, mail, calendars, etc. They are telling their users that they don't have to do anything, but it just works. I wonder if they'll start charging for the use of the iCloud later..?
It doesn't seem to be significantly different from the iPhone 4, and I don't think it would be worth the extra money if I were to buy one.
